Prathima Foundation’s Cancer Awareness Program Inspires Hope on World Cancer Day

On February 4th, Prathima Foundation successfully conducted a Cancer Awareness Program at Kaloji Kalakshetram, Hanamkonda, marking World Cancer Day with a powerful message of prevention, early detection, and resilience.

The event saw an overwhelming response, with 5,000 participants joining the Walkathon, which started from Public Gardens and concluded at Kaloji Kalakshetram. This symbolic march reinforced the importance of cancer awareness and proactive health measures.

Renowned actress and cancer survivor Gautami shared her inspiring journey, stating, “Cancer is not the end; it is a challenge that can be conquered with early detection, the right treatment, and an unbreakable spirit.” Her words resonated deeply with the audience, offering hope to many.

Dr. Harini Boinipally, Founder Member of Prathima Foundation, emphasized, “Cancer is no longer a death sentence. Advances in medical science can save lives, but awareness is key. Our mission is to educate, eliminate stigma, and encourage people to seek timely medical help.”
